Badwater flats - the water is not poisonous, just salty. Prospectors mules would not drink it, so they called it bad.....
Out on the flats. Water oozes from below, and forms these unique patterns. The salt is a thin crust, on top of moist mud. If you do not walk carefully, you will break through.....
